The Oakroom Artists is a membership-by-invitation artists association based in Schenectady, NY. The group originally formed in 1956 and is named after its original showing space, "The Oakroom," located in the former Hotel Van Curler (now Schenectady County Community College). This artistically diverse group of 24 artists holds solo exhibitions for each of its members and holds group shows around our community. Associate OA members also participate in group shows. Works of various mediums, subjects, & styles will be on display here at The Blooming Artist from April 04th to May 13th, with an Opening Community Art Reception on Friday, April 14th, from 6-8pm. All are welcome.
