Amy Bergeron

Amy Bergeron, an artist who has captured the sublime beauty of nature
and the human form, hails from Charlton, New York. In her early years as a high school artist, portraiture established the demand for her work. Bergeron has since drawn her inspiration from nature expressing the
intricate play of light and shadow using color. Viewers often comment that her work feels immersive, a quality she cherishes as it indicates that her art resonates on a personal level.

Bergeron has a formal education in fine arts: a two-year degree from Sage College, where she earned the Bocour Award for most promising artist, and a Bachelor of Science with a focus on fine art from Skidmore College, which she earned in her 40’s while managing the demands of single parenthood and a full-time job.

Her works have been displayed in numerous galleries, including The Blooming Artist Gallery, Morningside Gallery, Lupine Gallery on Monhegan Island, Arkell Museum, Italian Heritage Museum, Spencertown Academy, Troy Arts Center, and others. For Bergeron, art transcends personal expression; it carries the power to evoke emotion and provoke thought in society. Her works invite viewers into a shared experience, bridging the gap between reality and artistic vision.
