Christina Boyd

Creative pursuits have always been present in Christina’s life. Those pursuits have transformed over
time – drawing as a child, computer aided design as an aspiring engineer, graphic design and virtual
reality sculpting in college, and then corporate presentation and multimedia design in an early corporate
career. Creativity shone through in hobbies as well, but it wasn’t until she discovered a local plein air
group, and dusted off an old set of watercolors, that this passion for painting was allowed to reignite.
Christina continues to feed her love for plein air painting, participating in multiple events each year. She
pursues opportunities to paint alongside other artists, and in public places to encourage those who
“can’t even draw a stick figure.”
