Deb Carpenter

While Deb Carpenter’s college degree is in Business management and Information Systems, she
discovered the arts late in life. She did some sketching as a teenager and in her early twenties, but
it wasn’t until 2006 when she discovered the liquid form of art in a college course on Landscape in
Watercolor.
Her work has been in various shows since 2010 around the Capital Region as well as NYC. She is a
current member of the Schenectady Art Society (SAS) and served as their President for ten years.
Deb has taught several classes using acrylic paints at the Albany Curling Club, Mabee Farms (plein
air), Niskayuna Senior Center, The Blooming Artist Gallery, and residential classes.
