Kerry Dayton

Upstate New York based Artist, Kerry Dayton, is a graduate of Alfred University and holds a BFA. Kerry honed her artistic skills while working as a Decorative Painter for many years in numerous residential and commercial settings. She has also had the opportunity to work in lace design, medical illustration, set painting and retail visual display. Kerry continues to blend her various skills by painting with oil and cold wax medium as well as mixed media, pushing the limits of her visual language through a layering process. She is inspired by nature and often creates form through texture. Recently, Kerry’s evolution of her art allowed her to develop and create Installation art, based on current events, bringing about a perfect combination of her passions.
